Bola,

Congratulations on the completion of your degree. I wish you the best of luck.

Honestly, it can be hard to find a stable, well-paying job in Mexico. I don't want to discourage you because it's worth a try if you are really up for an adventure. I would recommend that you start in Guadalajara, Mexico City, or Queretaro. If you want to work in tourism, then choose a coastal city, such as Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, etc.

Good luck!

Patti,

I wouldn't take it too seriously. If you can, I recommend that you visit Mexico a lot on extended visits before you decide to move there.

Regards, Julia

So, if I scored a 'total' of 12, does it matter if I was one over and one under minimum?

Natalie,

You are right. I wonder if you would like living in Mexico. Why not? You love your husband, right? You'd probably love a whole bunch of neighbors who have similar habits, beliefs, and values! BUT heed the quiz. Set yourself up for success by knowing what you are getting into. My best advice: Learn that YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER ANYTHING except yourself. If you can make peace with that, you'll be fine.

This could also be, "Should you marry a Mexican?"
hahaha. My husband and I are a great example of opposites attract. I am beginning to realize that many of our opposites are culture related. I didn't pass the quiz, but I still want to move to Mexico. Am I setting myself up for disaster?? :)
