Wow, I scored 10 and 8. Does that mean I should already be in Mexico or am I just getting really melo in my advancing age? Hmmm… they only concern I had was with the ‘Cold Showers’ but being resourceful I believe that I can fix that.

Ron, Congratulations, you’re ready for Mexico!

You will have be resourceful. You’ll be figuring out why your hot water heater went out in the middle of a shower… or maybe your gas tank just ran out in the middle of a shower…. LOTS of opportunities to be resourceful.

    Enjoy the journey!

    Kindest Regards,

Hi – Read your book – thank you for your insights. Took the quiz, and didn’t do well – a 3 and a 4 respectively…problem is my husband and I retire in 6 months – and can’t afford to live in the U.S. $1500 a month for me, $1500 a month for him…A small city in Central Mexico is what we are choosing…

    Anita Lee,

Thank you for reading the book and for your comments. Don’t worry about your quiz score. It’s all silliness anyway. As Mexicans say: “You can get used to anything except not eating.”

I wish you the very best in your retirement.

I only scored 8/6, but grew up as a service brat, spent 6 of my first 14 years living outside the US and I love traveling, meeting new people, learning histories and cultures and especially the beach!! We will be in Chicxulub Puerto on October 22nd to settle in with a white sand beach as our front yard with the Gulf beyond that. Aleluya!!!!

PS We are retiring on SS, too!
